November 15, 2023, Apia: Signing Ceremony of the OACPS-EU Samoa Partnership Agreement

The post-Cotonou negotiations, which began in September 2018, concluded on November 15, 2023, with the signing in Apia, Samoa, by the 106 OACPS member states and the EU, of the Samoa Agreement, a new comprehensive legal framework governing the OACPS-EU partnership for the next twenty years, replacing the Cotonou Agreement.

Leading the official delegation, which included representatives from CAON, the Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development (MINEPAT) signed the agreement on behalf of Cameroon.
