Support Unit for the Partnership between Cameroon and the European Union
The meeting on August 10, 2026, served as a final opportunity for H.E. Mr. Jean-Marc Châtaigner - Ambassador and Head of the European Union Delegation to Cameroon, who was nearing the end of his tenure - and Minister Alamine Ousmane Mey (MINEPAT), Coordinator of the Cameroon-EU Partnership, to review three years of partnership.
From June 16 to 19, 2026, the Yaoundé Convention Center hosted the Cameroon-EU Business Week, held in conjunction with the 10th edition of the Promote 2026 International Trade Fair.
On July 30, 2025, H.E. the Ambassador, Head of the EU Delegation hosted a breakfast celebrating 16 Cameroonian recipients of the 2025/2026 Erasmus Mundus program, in the presence of CAP-CUE. He congratulated the awardees—particularly the women—encouraged the sharing of experiences with past scholarship holders, and highlighted the "Team Europe" values of exchange.
On May 23 and 24, 2024, Yaoundé hosted the meeting of the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OEACP) Ministers responsible for mining.
The first financing agreement is entitled “Appui au Développement Economique par la Promotion des Chaînes de valeur et de l'initiative privée”.
On November 14, 2024, H.E. Alamine Ousmane Mey, Minister of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Coordinator of the Cameroon-European Union Partnership, and H.E. Jean-Marc Chataigner, Ambassador, Head of the E.U. Delegation in Cameroon, co-chaired the 3rd session of the Economic and Technical Dialogue between Cameroon and Equipe Europe.
