As part of the Education pillar of its Global Gateway strategy, on July 30, 2025, the European Union organized a breakfast at the residence of H.E. the Ambassador, Head of the EU Delegation, to celebrate the success of sixteen (16) students, winners of the Erasmus Mundus Association Program for the 2025/2026 academic year. The CAM-EU Partnership Support Unit (CAP-CUE) was represented at the event.
In his speech, His Excellency the Ambassador congratulated the graduates, who, through this award, “fly the flag for Cameroon in cooperation.” His Excellency the Ambassador particularly praised “the strong female presence among the scholarship recipients, not because they are women, but because they were the best among those selected.”
Continuing his remarks, His Excellency the Ambassador addressed a message to the former scholarship recipients, who were also present, inviting them to share their experiences with the new recipients, to promote the Erasmus program, and to spread the word about it, the main thing being to make people aware that this competition exists.
Finally, His Excellency the Ambassador praised Team Europe's participation in the program.
The discussions continued in a friendly atmosphere, and His Excellency the Ambassador, in his closing remarks, reaffirmed his interest in the values of exchange and mutual enrichment.
